Is there a problem?
* 69% of three year-olds could identify
but 50% of four year-olds did not know their name.
* Childhood obesity has tripled in the past 25 years
* Nearly 1 in 6 British children is overweight; 6% are obese.
* 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 5 boys overweight or obese
* Intakes of fat, saturated fat, salt and sugar exceed the recommendations (NDNS, 2000)
